cover-baseball5214.jpgThe Rice University baseball team lost again Thursday to the Beavers of Oregon State. Rice did set one record though; with 23 consecutive innings with no runs, they broke a record from the 1950’s of the longest a team has gone in the College World Series without scoring.

The last 18 of 23 innings did Rice in as they lost two to Oregon State University. Rice was ranked #2 coming in.

With their win, Oregon State will face the North Carolina Tar Heels in a best of three matchup beginning Saturday on ESPN.
