It was obvious at the outset of starting this project that the bond between Coach Harper and the players was very strong. They love her; it’s obvious every time I am around the team. I have a wider shot of this scene, but I like this one most. It concentrates on the interaction between the team; faces aren’t important here — the bond is.

As I mentioned earlier on this site, I was commissioned by the NC State alumni associated to do the photography for a story they are doing on Kellie Harper, NCSU’s new women’s basketball coach. They asked me to pick my favorite photos from the story. Easier said than done though with some 1,000 pics to cull through.  But I was able to pick out my favorite eight from the season and here they are. Read the rest of this entry »

Yesterday I went out to UNC where the Chapel Hill High School Tigers lacrosse team played Providence Day. The above photo fairly well sums out the game: CHHS dominated with a final score of 14-7. Below is a link to some photos from the game.

So this is an outdated posted obviously. Originally, it was to be posted on Inside Lacrosse’s website. However, about six weeks ago Inside Lacrosse launched their new website. The website includes not only a new front end that is visible to viewers, but also a new backend that powers the site.

The backend had some issues, in particular to me, the photo server was very flakey. I spent about 2 hours trying to post an article to no avail. By the time the issues were resolved, the post would have been a week late so I gave up.

In the process, the article I wrote was eaten by the server, so rather than write a new article from scratch, I’m going to just link to the photos that are on my site.  Duke Lacrosse vs. Penn
